This week

Last week was crunch time; I had to work over the weekend because of a client demo. That spilled well into Tuesday this week.
I have been sleeping well, but mostly going to bed by the morning - I don’t like this.
Most of this week I barely did much and attended status meetings to follow up on tasks.
Mostly low on energy and feeling gloomy again.
Updated this blog on the 6th with a new entry.
A couple of weeks ago, I migrated this blog from GitHub Pages to S3 + Cloudfront. I planned to add images to my blog and didn’t want to encounter any size issues with either Git or GitHub Pages.
Created https://silverhalide.kernelanxiety.dev as a place to post all my analog images that I make. I used foto. You can find the source here.
I store my images on S3, then I have an images.yml file in both Silverhalide and this blog. It downloads the images during build time from my S3 store and deploys the build output to another S3 bucket connected to Cloudfront.

I have been thinking about POSSE for Instagram stories, but I cannot really find a way. I may just post to Instagram + post to my website somehow.
I have been using this online darkroom timer by Jerome Arfouche. Earlier, I had contributed a simple bug fix.
I had a few feature requests for the darkroom timer. I raised a PR for one of them this week. Hopefully, it goes through. I have also forked it and want to add a few ancillary features which may not get merged into the upstream. I also want to self-host this.
I am rewatching “Dexter” - Finished Season 2.
On Saturday, I processed the film I shot from W48 to W49. I “pushed” the film for the first time. Here are some of the images that I think are decent.

I wanted to see how a dim lit scene would look at ISO 800. This cafe is near my office. I like that although outside it is dark, inside with dim lit lights it still works

I liked the repeating pattern of the nets - Along with that each floor adds up to the repeating feel. It was quite low light

I really liked this one. I took this at Bangalore Railway station. I had envisioned something like this, with a motion blur juxtapositioned against the elder man looking outside - happy it came out good.

I really liked the scene where the person in frame was partially well lit by sun, and was framed by auto. I think pushing makes it difficult, but sun is only lighting the person's chest

Found this abandoned on my way to grab coffee. Found the imagery interesting along with the texture of stone

I liked the imagery of paint brush and paint bottle being thrown diagonally

I was waiting there for 10 minutes to capture something interesting that was framed by two autos - but I lost the moment, and the auto driver came in and sat - and I clicked, giving up - but the image somehow works!

I am assuming a parent and kid - I found it cute that they were shopping for book together

I was passing by and found this imagery interesting where the security guard was standing with hands on his hips like the Mannequin, but I was too late to capture the moment - but like this too

This was late in the evening, beside a cigarette vendor. I wanted to capture that with a shadow of person smoking, but could only get my torso

I like the images of 3 people standing around, also the 3 mannequins make it interesting to me. The person sitting on the chair also seems to be instructing others
